How do I get rid of fleas in my apartment?

I live in Georgia and somehow even though our dog is on frontline and our cat is an indoor cat, we now have fleas. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of products they have used that worked when trying to get rid of fleas?

  1. You should cover all of your plants and take your pets out for the day and set off a flea bomb, like Raid, or when you go out to buy one read the backs of them and they will tell you how much area they cover and how long you should be out of the house. Then when you get back discard the bomb, and wash everything like pillows, blankets, curtains, rugs and even the carpet to be on the safe side.

You should also then wash down all of the hard surfaces just to make sure that you got any eggs that may have fallen of of your pet or where ever the fleas came from. If there were any clothes that were in contact with a surface that you noticed had fleas on it, then it would be a good idea to wash them too.

It sounds like a lot of work, and it is, but I have had fleas before and this what I did and I haven't had them since. I hope it helped!

  2. flea bomb

  3. a flea tick bomb.  They have them for roaches and spiders too.  You can't stay there for like 24 hours though.  the link will tell you how to do it.
