  1. bug spray or those lights that burn bugs? o__o"

  2. You might try the old time fly strips near the cat food. They come in a canister like film it coils out and can be hung up it attracts  and  they stick to it.I think they are non toxic.Get them at feed stores or home imp. hardware.Probably already doing this but keep outside doors closed fix any holes in screens.

  3. use a fly spayer

  4. You can get those sticky fly strips and hang them around.

I have a machine I got from dairy supply. Battery powered that mists a dairy safe fly spray about every 5 minutes. Since it is dairy safe you can have it safely in the house. It uses a small canister of fly spray. http://www.Country-Vet.com

  5. Depending on the severity, you may have several options.  The flies are coming for a reason.  An automatic, battery operated, device that sprays repellent from a aerosol can is effective in some cases.  You can still by fly paper and hang it where flies congregate.  Any good farm supply is usually a good source for fly baits.  Dairymen always have a fly problem unless the have a good program or system to control the fly population.  The best stuff that I ever saw is a repellent that you spray on the walls and roof inside that dries into a very fine white powder coating.  That really worked.  First try to figure out what draws the flies and correct that issue. A cat litter box is always a invitation to flies to come on over and make your filthy self at home.

  6. Hey,

You know what, i have the exact same problem. no food lyeing around, but the buggers are still coming in.argg. it gets so anoyying, try not to have windows open and if you do make sure that there is a screen on the window small enough so that the flys cant get in, and try not to have the door open all the timee. but there is these little strips that you hang on th ceiling and then it catches the flys or there is this bottle you can buy it at the dollar store,

    best answer?

    Hope I helped

    Good Luck(:!

  7. Fill a small glass or tupperware container with apple cider vinegar and a couple drops of dish soap. (Doesn't need to be too full.) Place the container near where you are noticing the flies hang out the most. The flies will be drawn to the scent of the apple in the apple cider vinegar, then will get stuck in it because of the sticky dish soap and they will drown. Note: This only works to get rid of fruit flies not house flies!

  8. We had the same problem and because of it developed a pheromone based mechanical fly catcher which can be either mains or battery powered. It´s taken me nearly two years to develop and paten but now we have a solution to the problem of flies that actually works very well. Take a look at www.insectsaway.com on the fly page then click the solution to find out all about it. The cost by the way is €49. You can also e mail me directly at chris@insectsaway.com. We are an English couple living in Spain and the flies here are a real problem.
