  1. eat raw onions

  2. brush your theeth with colgate

  3. a mint/tooth brush/mouth wash will only cure it for a little while... you will have garlic breath until the garlic food you ate is out of your system...

  4. chew on parsley.or eat a raw carrot works wonders.

  5. Although Listerine is a good way to temporarily get rid of the bacteria that cause bad breath, the best way to get rid of "garlic breath" is to purchase a device called a "tongue scraper."  The bad breath primarily lives on the surface of the tongue, and by gently scraping the tongue with this dull plastic instrument, one is able to more quickly rid himself or herself of bad breath.  Perhaps after scraping the tongue I would follow up with rinsing with listerine.

  6. If you have colgate mouth wash rinse for 1min  and it's gone

  7. Garlic sweats out through your pores, if you work out, do a great workout to get a good sweat going...

If not, drink lots of water, and gargle with listerine or Tom's.

  8. My best advice other than the obvious is to use chlorophyll  it works on just about any thing  and is all natural     Gorbalizer

  9. chew on some corriander seeds (or a sprig of cilantro)

  10. Bacteria induced garlic breath can be reduced by usual oral hygene methods. Standard halitosis remedies include regular use of mouthwash, brushing and flossing teeth and tongue scraping.

There are also commercial bad breath remedies available which are more powerful than the usual mouthwashes you can buy in supermarkets. These are available from your doctor, your pharmacist or to buy online.

Another method of reducing garlic breath is to eat parsley with the meal. This seems to counteract the problem to some extent, although it doesn't prevent it completely. It's probably no coincidence that many garlic recipes also contain parsley. However it is not enough just to sprinkle in a teaspoon of dried parsley when cooking. To get the effect you need to chew at least one sprig of fresh parsley, preferably more. Ideally this should be chopped and added near the end of cooking.

Some people also claim that chewing cardamon seeds has a similar effect to parsley and can work as a garlic breath remedy. Cardamon has a very strong flavour so this might not be an option for some people.

Perhaps the best solution to the garlic breath problem is to ensure that you surround yourself with friends who are also garlicophiles!
