  1. Use a better hairspray.  Use one that's a microspray.  Those don't weigh your hair down.  Don't use so much hairspray, either.  Maybe try switching to a mousse.

  2. Use a Clarifying shampoo. They always work great but you might have to wash your hair 2 or 3 times for it to work.  I use Nexus Aloe Rid Gentle Clarifying Shampoo and it works great :) You can get it at rite aid or anywhere! Good luck!

  3. use a hot oil treatment or deep moisturizer. shampoo will only dry it out more.

  4. urgh! i think its the shampoo you are using... and hunni, lay off the spray :S

  5. o i had this problem last week. wat i did was pour white vinegar all over my hair and leave on for five minutes. then in the shower i wash it out real good shampoo and condition normally. then when i got out my build up was gone and my hair was shinier than it had ever been. believe or not the shine is still here even though i did it last week. =) good luck.

  6. Dr. Bronner's pure castile soap in peppermint. i know its a body wash but it really does clear it up. You can get it online or at target

  7. get some dawn, like dish washing soap u kno>?
