How do I get rid of hiccups fast and easy?

I need a quick and easy way to get rid of hiccups. A couple different solutions would be nice.

Spoon full or sugar always helps and right away.

hold your breath, but dont let ANY air in while you are. i usually hear my throat groan a little bit, haha im weird.

What I do and it seems to really work for me is take a deep breath(as much air as you can) and hold it for as long as you can.  Like until it starts to hurt your chest.  Then slowly let the air out.  Then take 2 to 3 deep slow breaths after that.  That should work for ya!  Good luck hun.

Pickle juice...seriously.  I just had hiccups, took two drinks, and it seriously instantaneously goes away.  My husband told me about it a long time ago, and none of us ever have hiccups!  1-2 sips is all it takes.

Holding your breath, re-breathing the air exhaled into a paper bag for a few minutes, slowly sipping a glass of water without pausing to take a breath, filling a glass with ice cubes and water, and then drinking it slowly (the rapid change of temperature in the esophagus may shut down the hiccup response), and the last one I've heard of is a shot of yagermeister.
