I have tried scrubbing it with soapy water but it just won't budge! It's along the seal around my bath and looks horrible! Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have to reseal it. Thanks.

  3. Things You’ll Need:

    White Vinegar

    Baking Soda

    Old Toothbrush

    Cup or Bowl

    Step1

Pour 1 part vinegar and 1 part warm water into a bowl, then add 2 parts baking soda to make a thick paste. (If this is too watery, add more baking soda)

    Step2

Scrub this paste onto the mold spots with a toothpaste and scrub for a few seconds, then allow it to sit for at least 15 minutes.

    Step3

Rinse well. If the stains are not completly gone, repeat and watch them disappear!

  4. Hi AMY-S  bleach will remove it.

  5. lemon juice (have you not watched kim and aggie)or cut a lemon in half and rub it into the area if it is really bad pour some salt on the area the grains of salt help you give it a good scrub

  6. just buy any "tub and tile cleaner"...spray it on...let it set for a few minutes..scrub it off...if the mildew is very bad, it may need several applications before you see a difference...Naturally, the longer you let it go, the harder it is to clean.

Recaulking the seal is not that much of a big deal...as long as you have a caulking gun which you can pick up at any local hardware store or home center, it's not a hard job.
