How do I get rid of paving slabs for free? (or very little cost)?

If you are in the UK you can take them to your local recycling depot (i.e tip) and they will accept them as hardcore. There is usually a limit of some many loads per person per month - take your Council Tax bill with you.

Alternatively, if you live somewhere appropriate, you could try advertising them as hardcore on a post outside the house - free to collector.

join freecycle. its great, there will be someone in your area who wants them.

You should advertise them in adtrader.com, it doesn't cost to advertise and if you put must be collected they will be collected for free too, paving slabs are normally really sort after and i'm sure you will get rid of them really quickly.
