How do I get rid of persistent annoying MS Antivirus WIN 2008, IE popups. About every 60 seconds. Four or ?

  4. download a program called MalwareBytes Anti-Malware MBAM, (link in sources) and, make sure you update it. then perform a quick scan (best to do it in safe mode, but not necessary -> hit F8 key when your computer is starting up to access menu for Safe Mode), run a quick scan, remove all the problems it found after scanning, restart your computer, download CCleaner (link in sources), and run it, removing all the files it found in a cleanup. restart again, and your clean!

  6. Use a registry cleaner to get rid of this message. I had it to and I used NoAdware. It fixed it in a few minutes and I never saw this popup again. You can download NoAdware at the link below.

  8. That is common with a trojan that has been loaded from a questionable site or as an add on to a music file.  Go to ccleaner.com and down load then run ccleaner program.  It should take care of the trojans.
