How do I get rid of pet dander?

We just bought a home and will be moving in soon the only thing I am wondering about is this. The people we are buying from have a few cats and a dog. My girlfriend that I bought the home with is alergic to cats so we were told to get the carpet cleaned before we moved in to get rid of all the alergens but how can we get the whole house cleaned? When we saw the house I saw that the cats had cat beds in the laundry room which isn't carpet and I am sure the cats go everywhere in the house so what can be done? Is there any service I can look for in the phone book to get done I don't want my girlfriend having allergy problems at all thank you.
