breastmilk in your eye will cure it, but then you have to find someone who is lactating and willing to give you some...

Otherwise, it will go away on its own...don't touch your eyes with your hands, and when you do need to clean them, use a soft, cool, damp cloth to remove gunk.  It is basically a cold in your eye, and will clear up...but because it is so highly contagious (unlike a normal cold) they prescribe stuff to make it go away faster.

a while ago i had the same problem... i didnt go to school that day.... just put warm tea on a cotton ball and put it on your eyelids
