How do I get rid of the Master Password with Firefox?

Question

I keep getting this message saying "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device." The thing is, I've never set the master password nor did I know it existed until now. Please help me get rid of it.

on the menu bar at the top Edit then Preferences.  Click the tab that says security then Uncheck the box that says Use a master password
