How do I get rid of the avatar silhouette?

I dislike the message "Your avatar goes here" popping up every time my pointer rolls over it. I don't like pop-up anything.

If you will designate an avatar it will stop that annoying pop-up.  Sadly, there may be no other solution.

You need to edit your profile. When you do that you have the opportunity to edit the avatar.
