Over the last couple of days a bird has moved into the tree outside our house. This bird is LOUD it is awful and keeps us up at night. The tree is a willow so I cant really get up there to knock down the nest. The cats just sit and stare at the tree. Any good ideas to make it move on?

  1. How about a strong stream of water (high pressure) from the garden hose to knock the nest down?  I have a cardinal that lives outside my bedroom window and it starts chirping really, really loud about 5:30 AM.  I thought about getting a shotgun and blasting it out of the tree, it is soooo irritating.  A big bang, a puff of red feathers, and then....silence.

  2. Get ear plugs and leave the poor bird alone. We've destroyed so much habitat for the birds  it's a wonder there's anything singing out there at all. It will move on once the chicks leave the nest. And by the way, it is illegal to disturb wildlife - call the Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and see what they say.

  3. I say you should buy a f**t bomb and try to trow it up there or something, the bird shouldn't come back if has sense.

  4. Buy an artificial owl.  You should be able to find them in the garden section of K-Mart, Wal-Mart, etc.

    Sometimes they do work.

  5. Watch Out With The Stupid Cops Go Get A Gun And Shoot It... Seriously Watch Out With The Cops You Could End Up Going Jail...

  6. shoot it

  7. shoot the h**l out of it but do it with a strong air soft gun, not some crappy pellet gun or like a pistol

  8. pay to have someone cut your tree. once it has no home, it will fly elsewhere.

  9. shoot it.

    jk jk

there's these shiny ribbons you can get at home depot or wal mart; and you tie them to branches and the colors scare the bird away.
