How do I get rid of this bad gut feeling?

I have a terrible sour feeling somewhere in my gut for usually 40% of my day. It's not my stomach. It's like I'm worried or stressed out. I don't know how to stop it!

  1. You could try peppermint oil and add some to water

    and drink it. Or even some peppermint tea.

    Peppermint is a natural stomach relaxer.

  3. It sorta soundsl ike acid indegestion.  I wonder if taking some Tums would settle it.  Sometimes stress can make it worse....

Omigod....I HATE  that.  It's like you were supposed to do something important, but you didn't....or you did something you weren't supposed to do...or like  you forgot something very important.   I don't know what causes it....never seems to be a specific  cause.  But it is miserable.  I wish I could tell you how to stop it, but I just don't know.....I know after a good night's sleep it is usually gone in the morn.  Hopefully yours will be gone tomorrow. In the meantime....talk to every one you can think of...it seems to get all the words out of your head.

  5. This sour feeling that you have could be an indiication of a problem with an area called the esophagus such as acid reflux disease (an example only).

    The only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation.  In the mean time you can try drinking clear liquids like ginger ale (an example only) to see if that helps to ease some of the symptoms.

  6. try limiting your caffeine intake when ive had to much i get the same way. also go to bed a little earlier. your body needs the proper rest.
