In the dirt there's a wasp nest. Whenever you water the plants it makes the wasps come out at you. When we spray them, it just makes them drunk.

  1. your best bet is to spray your entire yard if you buy the the right type of spray it will electricute them

  2. They may not be the kind that do not sting humans unless really provoked. Some insects that look like wasps are not actually wasps they incredibly eat wasps. So try to identify them first before spraying. If you are positive it is a wasp, you probably have to hit the actual wasp with the spray. Some of them only kill that way. Normally if you spray the area it will eventually kill them. or make the rest leave.

  3. Mark where the nest is, wait till sun down, when the wasps have all come home.  Spray the nest with either...Starter fluid, (yes the kind that you get at the vehicle shops OR you can get Raid stinging insect killer, not sure what the name is but ask the clerk there.  Spay the entrance of the nest liberally, when it is dark the wasps are very dozie and won't go after you.  wait about an hour and go back and spray the nest again.  I doubt that there will be much action there the next day.
