In this order:

control panel-add/delete and remove

after removed, go to

Start

search

files and folders

xp anti virus

delete any folders that show up.

This will take about an hour.

Switch off System Restore and reboot when asked.

Install, update and run a full scan with http://superantispyware.com

Install and run http://ccleaner.com Run the ccleaner and the registry scans and remove what they find. Repeat the registry scan until nothing id detected.

Reboot and job done.

You can restart System Restore if you wish when your computer is clean.

Ensure you have a decent anti-virus and firewall and scan for infections on a regular basis.
