So, I was trying to get the ink in my silver sharpie to work so I shook it. But I forgot to put the cap back on first. Oops! Now what do I do? What can I use on my screen to get it off that won't mess up my laptop's screen?

  1. Use a light cloth with water only and scrub gently but firmly. Be careful not to let it drip through the keyboard. Dry using a clean paper towel.

  2. Ouch im sorry to hear what happend out that. I dont know what to do it get that off without detroying your laptop screen.

  3. try nail polish remover do it veryyyyyyy carefully tho

  4. Use an alcohol swab or some rubbing alcohol. It gets permenant marker off anything! =]]

  5. if you have a glossy screen, use rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol on a paper towel or cottonball and rub it over the ink.  but make sure you get it off as soon as you remove the ink, or it could damage the screen.  if you have a matte screen, you could try the same thing, but it could damage your screen.  the reason it will work with a glossy screen is that the glossyness is a plastic coating, so the alcohol won't damage it (as long as you get it off quickly once the ink comes off)

    good luck!
