How do I get smoke stains off my microwave?

It was in the house of my ex boyfriend who is a heavy smoker , but he blame that the sun from window has made the front of the microwave yellow, although he never open curtain to let sun in.

Any advice appreciate

Try using some TSP to clean it. If you don't have TSP then you could mix some ammonia with dish detergent and clean with that. Make sure to open windows when using ammonia.

Wipe the microwave with a wet cloth - then sprinkle a little baking soda onto a damp sponge and rub and scrub until it is clean, rinse with water and a teaspoon of white vinegar.

That should do the job.

I would use straight ammonia and warm water.  Make sure the room is ventilated well.
