I am still in mail box mode. I use outlook express for my emails and we just have a run of the mill computer, how do I get the Tom Hanks kind of thing in Sleepless in Seattle where my computer tells me "hey Lady, you've got mail" Is there something I am not clicking or do I have to download or subscribe to something. Stop laughing all you computer wizzards! I'm trying my best.

  1. Go to the tools, rules wizard, new, choose the suitable rule , one of them to give you sound when you receive a new message, set the desired wave file by browser.

  2. go to start go to control panel go to sounds and audio devices

click on the sound tab  click on new mail and browse the files you have for that would work or google  hey lady you got mail wave file and you'll find someone that may have it. or make your own wav file for your email

  3. OK, if you are using Outlook Express, that's fine, just go to Control Panel, and select Sound settings, where you can change new mail notification sound to whatever you like. Of course you should have a .wav file that says "hey Lady ...", you can have a friend record it for you, or search the Internet for such a audio clip.
