How do I get stamina to last last a 9 inning game?

I play in a league and I like after 6 innings I get very tired; line my arm, my legs, lower back, etc. So what do I need to do?

  1. Like anything else, you will get better with practice.  You can also try muscle building in the gym.  Spend time at the track also.  You will build stamina by running and lifting weights.  Depending on your position,  you might want to do some research on the types of exercises you do, as some types build different muscles and could actually hinder your performance.  


  2. Do some conditioning, running often is a great way to build up your stamina.  

  3. You should run. Go to a local fitness center and go on a treadmill or an elliptical and run for about 7 minutes first then gradually increase. Any cardiovascular activities will help. Another thing  is to do crunches. Start with 45 during a day, then gradually increase at your pace. Also, you could hire a personal trainer and your area and have he/she help you lift weights and show you proper form and technique. One more thing you could do is look up the throwers ten program on google. It's a series of exercises that strengthens your arm.
