How do I get started as an actor?

Is there a type of school I have to get into or can I just get lucky at a talent search agency? What are places I go to if I want to be an actor?

You should take some acting classes here or go to a school with a drama program.  Have you been in plays before?  Then hopefully move to new york or la for sometime and find jobs.  New york has a lot of theaters you could start there.
