I'd like to know if there is any probable way that you can start being an Anime director, and owning a business. I'd like to know how, like what kinds of Anime-drawing programs or some great animation programs used by professional directors. Such things like drawing, voice acting, or special effects.

  1. There are no computer programs that make cartoons for you.  There aren't.  These things are STILL done by hand by rows and rows of animators.  Sure, there are computer programs that assist them, but the majority of the work is still done directly by humans onto animation cells.  You go to college and learn how to do these things.  Then you take loans out from the bank to try to get start up capital and attempt to hire writers and whatnot.

Then you go out of business and default on the loans and go bankrupt because you're just a clueless Weeaboo still looking for a shortcut.  Then you mature a bit.  Then you go apply at Disney or Warner Brothers and get a job working for american animation companies.  10 years of that, and some Japanese company might think about hiring you for an entry level position.  10 years after THAT you might have enough renown to be able to adapt a manga to an animation format.  10 years after THAT, you MIGHT have enough renown to open the next Studio Ghibli.

  2. that guy is right. He told you straight and true. Except he left out the part of how much work is to be an animator. You need a degree from CAL arts. You need a killer portfolio. And you need to know how to draw. I don't mean the silly drawings your mom puts on the freezer box. I mean to draw a cartoon, running, understand story telling and be the most creative genius anyone has ever saw. The best of the best. There are millions of animators. If you ever want a job in that line of work. Get ready for a long long road a head of you.
