I know I need to start working on it, otherwise my partner is going to be very disappointed and angry with me. But for some reason I just can't get started on it. And I don't know why. I really need some good advice.

  1. you should put more info in the question

  2. Depending on the project =

Keep in constant contact with your partner - the lack of not knowing what your doing is going to get old quick = and I'm sure make them nervous. And it is definitely unfair to have someone else putting in an effort and your not.

Just get started = it will get easier once you start

    Make an outline

    Make a list of materials

Set time frames for research, and development

Discuss with your partner what parts will be shared and what parts will be independent work.

Are there going to be any costs to the project = how will these costs be split.

Who is going to build the project/display/poster or any of the physical parts of the project.

It would have been more helpful if you would have stated what the project is  = is it an essay - a display - what kind of project.

  3. What's the project?  Different projects have different starting procedures. More info can help us help you.

  4. start with a trip to the library to find books on the topic. Researching may get you thinking and working in the right direction.

  5. Expand your mind. Smoke something.
