How do I get super glued scissors to open again?

Been there done that... with scissors, pliers, and other tools.

I usually either soak in acetone, OR wrap the blades in paper-towels and then soak them with acetone.

Use Acetone ONLY in a VERY well ventilated area, and do NOT let acetone drip on finished furniture and plastics.

soak them in nail polish remover for a while (they might rust though)

Use nail polish remover (the kind that has acetone in it..... others won't work) put some on and work them to get them loose. You will probably need to do it a bit at a time.
