How do I get that professional look?

I need some ideas of how to look more professional. I work during the day at an office, and I work at night selling candles at parties for Partylite. I always am around professional people and I need to know what I can do to get that proffessional look. I also am 21, but I look like I'm 16. So, people don't always take me too seriousely, because who's gonna listen to a kid. So i need to look older. I just cut my hair a little longer than shoulder length and got some layers and bangs. How should I style it to look more professional? How can I give it more body? It's very flat and thin.

Any tips on makeup, hair, nails, clothing, jewelry, etc. Any help is truly appreciated. I am a mom also, so I usually am dressed casually at home, so I'll need a whole new wardrobe. again any tips are helpful! thanks in advance

Makeup:

-stay away from to much makeup (you don't want to look like a clown or anything)

-if you wear glasses and still want to wear makeup only wear eyeliner and and mascara and remember only a little bit

-I would also suggest foundation and concealer just to clear and even up your face and get rid of scar lines and colour lines under you eyes

Hair:

-a great way to go is curly it is so in right now and it still looks proffesional

-invest in a curling iron i suggest Conair not to expensive and there great

-stay away from updos

-if you did do an updo i would suggest a french twist

-you can look that up on youtube

Nails:

-french manicure looks very pro.

-it's very common and quiet easy to do

-again youtube

-stay away from bright colours

-if a manicure is not your thing than jst file and cut  your nails

Fashion:

-try for nice dark suits for work

-try nice dress pants or straight knee lenght skirt

-with a dark blouse to match
