I have some gel called L.A. Wet Looks or something like that. Everytime I used gel in my hair it gets frizzy and dry.Don't tell me to go out and get ______[insert product name here].I don't have any spare money.

Tell me step by step how to get that wet look. :)

Thanks!

  1. This is what my friend megan does.  She has a natural wave so if you don't, wave or crimp your hair before dong this.  It works on frizzy hair better.

    -wet your hair

    -brush it

-put a big glob of gel in your hand

-scrunch it into your hair going upward

-dry your hair with a hair dryer

    -enjoy!

    Good luck!!

  2. wet-- USE WATER?

  3. ok i have la looks  too!

    what i do is:

    1. Take a shower

    2. dry yourself

    3. put gel in ( a couple blobs)

    4. scrunch your hair

    5. what i do is put it in a bun

    6. let dry

    7. enjoy!

  4. did u follow their directions carefully?

  5. Gel gives it that wet affect.

  6. use moose, not gel. gel will just make it rock hard and gross.

  7. 1. Wet your hair

    2. Brush out your hair a little to de-tangle it if need be, ir to just get the strands in place

    3. Put some mouse in your hair...gel isn't really a good one

    4. Depending on how your hair is, put some leave-in conditioner in it too.

This is how I do my hair when I want the "wet" look.

  8. Mousse!!

  9. My hair is naturally thick, frizzy, and wavy. All in all it's unruly. Most of my hair days consist of tight buns. I hate fussing over it, and it takes far too long for me to straighten it everyday.

I got bored with the granny, librarian bun though, and this weekend I decided I would curl it. Curly my hair has always been easy. After a shower, I towel dry my hair, add a half gallon of hair gel to my locks, scrunch, scrunch...and done! Tah-dah!

Not all hair gel works as well as the next though. Some will leave hair stiff, some won't do a thing, and others leave behind nasty white residue. In the world of hair gel, it's nearly impossible to find one that works without any issues.

When I came across a large bottle of LA Looks Wet Look Styling Gel, I figured I'd give it a try. Most LA Looks products and gels I have used in the past always did the trick. I figured a wet look may be nice, would add shine, and make my hair look freshly washed. It was a look I had never done before, so...why not?

LA Looks Wet Look Styling Gel comes in a larger plastic squeeze bottle. The gel itself is also clear.

The Scent was clean and fresh with that signature LA Look scent that most of their products contain. You know, sort of like a glue scent masked with some sort of fresh chemical scent. It's not something that smells gorgeous, but it is also not a scent that would make you gag. (Plus you could always add a dash of scented lotion or conditioner to freshly scrunched hair to mask the odd LA Looks scent).

I first took a shower, towel dried my hair, and brushed out any knots. After my air was knot free I then squeezed a super large glop of LA Looks Wet Look Styling Gel into my palms and applied from root to tip.

I find that saturating the hair in gel works best when you want complete hold and control.

After saturating my hair in the gel, I then began the scrunching ritual. Once my hair was scrunched enough I simply let it air dry.

  10. Well I always do this and it works pretty well. Hope it helps you (also it depends on what type of hair you have. I have found that it is much easier for someone to get that "wet" look if they have curly or wavy hair)

When you get done washing your hair towel dry it and then put in some leave in conditioner, then put a good gel in it.  Then hair spray your hair all over!  Imediately start blow dryng.  the blow drying stops it from getting crunchy but gives you that wet look.  I always stop about two times in between blow drying and respray. depending on how long it take you to dry your hair- but these need to be evened out.  If your hair is crunchy when your done you used to much hair spray if its frezzy you didn't use enough.  I think just by one- to- three tries and you should be able to find the right balance.  Don't wory if you don't have leave in conditioner its not the maker or the breaker it just helps the frezze tone down a little.  But when in doubt hairspray, blowdry, hairspray, blowdry!!!

  11. use egg whites (: add some hairspray and wabamm (:

if you want you can add gel to for a crispier look,

    good luck! (:

  12. Just put olive oil in your hair, it may sound weird but it will help it grow and give it that wet look.

  13. Gel will give you that wet look, but L.A. Wet Looks is too firm for that. You need to find a gel that is more workable, and not so much for hold. These gels will give you the wet look without being crunchy and hard.
