I have two children and was only given credit for one. I have worked my whole life and have never taken a penny of Government assitance of any kind.

  1. Be thankful for what you did receive and if you need more get a job.

  2. I am guessing you were not shorted, but calculated it wrong or forgot about some money you owed us.

  3. Who says you were shorted it?  Not every one gets the full amount.

About two weeks before you received your Economic Stimulus check you were sent a notification with how much the check would be.

  4. Can you add details to explain the error on your stimulus payment?

The amount of the check was based on your 2007 tax return.  Children born in 2008 were not included in the amount of the stimulus check, because they had not been born by December 31, 2007.

  5. Just go beat up some kids and steal their lunch money. Sure it's a more direct way of stealing money from your kids than taking out billions of dollars of debt nobody intends to pay back to pay for a government paycheque, but they'll thank you in 30 years when they've got 300 dollars less to pay off.

  6. go earn it.
