How do I get the annoying person sitting next to me to stop staring at my laptop screen?

Either switch computers or get someone to sit on the other side of them and go on a more interesting or strange site. So the annoying person will automaticly be drawn to the other computer screen and not yours!

... I think the best way to handle this situation is with a tad of humor.

If he or she is staring at your computer screen, I suggest you move it in between the two of you, so that he can see it better... he'll get the drift.

make eye contact with the person (or give them a dirty look, like i do) and then look at your computer and tilt it away from the person. they'll get the message.

lool, slap him/her round the face - or, if you wanna be a little more discrete (better option) just turn to the other side a bit...he'll eventually get the hint.

open a word doc. select a 24 or larger font, and color it red, and type in all caps "stop looking at my laptop screen you wanker!"
