I have the 80GB PS3 connected by a HDMI cable to a 1080i HD Widescreen TV and I got the DBZ Blu-Ray Broly Double-Feature, when I watch it though, the image looks stretched upwards, the black bars are gone but I want them there so the image doesn't look stretched upwards, when I watch the season remastered sets of DBZ on normal DVD I have the black bars on top and bottom, but when I put it in the PS3 and play it, the image gets stretched and fills the screen and the black bars are gone, my question is, how do I gets the black bars back so the image doesn't look so stretched, I've messed with the PS3 video settings and nothing helps

  1. Might be your TV's picture settings.  Look to see if there is a Native/Original aspect option.
