How do I get the date stamp to show up on my Canon ZR950 recordings?

I've read and reread the booklet that came with it. I've played with all the functions. Normally I hate this feature, especially for still shots. But I would really like to see the date my videos were shot now that I am documenting my daughter's life. Please help if you can. Thank you.

  1. Click on "MENU"-----click it again-----and keep clicking till you see the option to "SET DATE & TIME"
