How do I get the fishing rod in Harvest Moon DS?

First, introduce yourself to the old couple that lives in the house in the lowest-right part of the world map.  Their home is the one the hill surrounded by raw land.  It doesn&#039;t matter where or when you talk to them, only that you do.

On a non-raining Saturday go to their house by 11am and wait.  When BOTH of them go inside, enter their house.  This will be around 12ish.  If you don&#039;t have any tools equipped, and have an empty slot in your pack, an event will occur and you will get the fishing rod.

Incidentally, you could introduce yourself to them that Saturday before they enter their home.

2 get the fishing rod you need 2 go there on a clear saturday between NOON and 1! If yuu go in at 11:00 Nina wont be in the house! And make sure you have NOTHING in you tool slot! Otherwise he wont give it 2 yuu!n den you walk in ! Easy! Hope I helped!
