How do I get the io remote to turn on my TV. So I don't have to use tow remotes to start everything?

I hit the TV button but nothing happened.

Heres how to program your remote, for the codes cliclk on the link at the bottom.

Turn on the TV.

Press the TV button and the SELECT button on the remote at the same time until the green light on the top of the remote blinks twice.

Point the remote toward the TV and enter your TV's 4-digit (see code table below). The remote's green light will blink twice when the code is stored. If it doesn't, try another setup code.

Verify you have selected the correct code by pressing the the TV power button. This should turn the TV on and off.

If the TV does not respond, try using additional codes (if available) for your TV brand. If that doesn't work, your TV may not be compatible and you'll need to use your TV remote to turn your TV on and off and to adjust the volume.

It would help if you mentioned what type and model # of the remote. But if you google "remote control codes"+"brand of remote" you will find the codes and how to program it.

Hope this helps as this is what I had to do, because I couldn't find the instructions that came with mine.
