How do I get the links to change color using Microsoft Explorer internet browser?

Question

Last week my links were changing colors for visited links. For some reason now, when I click on a link, it changes color fine, then when I click back on the browser, its not colored anymore. I checked internet options COLORS and its all exactly the same settings. Could it be a virus? I ran virus checker and its clean. Please tell me if there is some other setting that I am not seeing, that all of a sudden changed on me

Right click on your homepage, click on properties, then Apperrance then go down to colour sceme.
