How do I get the solder fumes or smell out of my house??

I tried to fix some wires and im a newby I breathed some of the fumes in but I stopped immeadiatly and turned on fans and such but I can still smell those fumes im standing next to a fan and I still smell it! Whats up with that? how do I get rid of this I dont feel safe sleeping with these fumes flying around

you should do this near a vent or open window or something with lots of ventillation

maybe in an open garage

a hood would be ideal but, not really a household thing

yea you don't want to breathe this or get the fumes in your eyes

especially if you're young - could probably cause cancer if you do it a lot
