How do I get the taste of lemon peels out of my cocktails?

I hand sqeezed 20 lemons and made an entire gallon. Is there a way I can get rid of the tang of just bitten lemon peels out of it without changing the taste?

  1. I don't think you can remove the flavor, but you might try adding a little sugar to take the edge off.

    For future reference, don't squeeze the lemon to get as much juice out of it as possible, and if you're using a reamer, don't push down and twist it. What happened is that in an effort to get as much juice as possible, you actually squeezed some of the juice out of the pith (the white part of the peel).
