How do I get the water to stop backing up?

Question

(See picture) When I run the garbage disposal the water backs up into the other side of the sink. I checked all the pipes to make sure they were clear. I am thinking it is just a problem with the disposal but it just seems odd. What can I do?

there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the drain setup. you will most likely have blockage in the drain system somewhere further down the line. Are you sure the p-trap is not plugged

Your drains just aren't working..Start at the sink & go towards  (the street)
