How do I get the wifi on my iPod to work? I just upgraded to verizon fios and before that, when i had the regular verizon internet, it worked... any help here would be appreciated. It used to find networks before but now it only finds one called XJWB7.. and its locked so i don't know what to do.

  1. Try syncing it again, if that doesn't work go to apple.com and  watch the tutorial for your iPod.  I would also double check my wireless setting and make sure the ask to join setting is on.  The last thing I can think of is go to general settings and then scroll down to the reset tab touch that and it will give you reset options, network etc... Just reset what you wish.

    Good luck

  2. Unlike some other wireless brands, the ones that come with FiOS have encryption enabled and have a unique SSID straight out of the box.  The "XJWB7" SSID that you see might be your FiOS wireless router.

To find the SSID and the key, look on the bottom of the router.  They are both listed along with the serial number.
