I put a piece of pipe (plastic or something like that not metal) in my tank to give my lionheads something to do or a place for them to hide. The problem is they don't go in to it or swim through it how do I make them? It is black and it is pretty wide I am sure they can fit.

  1. they could be scared or not sure of it remember it is new to them and yes you could put food in it and maybe you could do something to it to make it green or put plants around it something to make it look more natural. but i mostly think they outta get used to it!

  2. put some food in it

  3. well, they dont completely hide. they want to hide but still be able to look to it surroundings

  4. Buy some sinking food pellets and drop them into the tube.  That should get your fish used to going into the tube.

If that doesn't work, it may just be they don't want to hide.

  5. you don't in time as they get use to it they may choose to or not to use it but you shouldn't stress them by trying to make them thease are fish not dogs you don't make them do anything you sit back and watch and if your lucky they will show you they are happy

  6. There probly scared at you looking at them. If you want a fish thats not scared and likes peoples attention, get a betta.

  7. but a piece a raw meat in it
