It starts at my neck and goes down almost to my right shoulder...ahh! It's getting a little better as time goes by, but I can't turn my head all the way to the right...lol. I hate that!

  1. Sorry but it just takes time to heal. Maybe in about 2 more days it should be better. But to ease the pain you can put a heating pad on it. or maybe even a warm washcloth. If someone can, try getting a nice little massage. That should help ease the knot.

  2. u cant do anything. it goes away by itself

  3. This may sound totally crazy, but it so works. Take a long sock and fill it with rice, then put it in the microwave and heat it up till it's as warm as u can stand it. drape it across your shoulders and rest. This happens 2 me all the time, another alternantive is if u have a heating pad, works the same. Therma-care heat patches are great for on the go times, place one across your shoulders get dressed and go, they last longer than the package gives credit. I used to work 4-12 put one on get off work and go 2 bed when I'd wake up in the morning it was still a little warm. So u have a few options for home and away. Good luck, if all else fails go get a massage once a week(with a prescription) works magic.

  4. move your head from side to side slowly so you feel a slight stretch in the trapezius muscle, but not so much as to feel any pain. As the pain lessens relax more into the stretch.

  5. Keep your neck warm! The same thing happens to my mum! You should be careful, 'cause some people don't get rip of it... I mean it comes over and over again!

  6. try taking muscle relaxers or pain pills- for the pain.
