  1. Hey Laro....I didnt know you were into usic...interesting.

I worked years as Luthier (lol)....To remove the mouthpiece, you need a puller. It will pull it out perfectly straight. Don't try twisting it or whatever.

  2. Hi there.... don't do any heating... as you are not a qualified brass repair tech.   I have had that same issue and took the horn to my brass repair guy.  He had a particular tool he used...  in 30 seconds it was dislodged... he charged me nothing....   You should be safe... not sorry and let the repair guy get it out for you.  It is not a major deal and as I said,  it takes no time at all.

  3. try heating up the joint.

  4. spit. haha. just kidding. i had that problem once with the mouthpiece on my clarinet, and i just took it to the repair shop. they got it out in a jiffy.

  5. take it to a technician, it'll be disloged in 30 seconds! (i own my own mouthpiece puller)-- (teaching m.s, kids i pull a mouthpiece 2-4 times a month). mine cost $38 & worth every penny considering my profession.
