  1. Nuts and pulses will sort you out a treat and they're delicious too.

With pulses you may want to take some charcoal tablets with them if you eat a lot as they can cause flatulence.

  2. Well, you can also include whole grain breads ( 100 percent whole wheat ), helps alot.  And other grains.

Include cooked whole grains with meals.  Like good short grain brown rice, cheap sometimes, from the health food stores.

You can make sure pasta's are whole grain, too.  100% durum semolina.  And it's one of the cheapest ones, it sells with dry pasta sometimes on the bottom shelf!

Soybeans.  They can take along time to cook but when you make em' you can make a very large pot.  Cooked with tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies into a stew.  And put in the fridge to keep.

Good as a side dish, even cold.  Kidney beans, fava, white beans, etc. All make great chili's, soups, and stews that really feed you.

Can you have dairy?  Cause' that can really make a difference.  Milk, and yoghurt, and cheeses.

  3. thats impossible to get that all from vegetables ,but drink soy milk and eat pleanty of beans and nuts.

  4. Drink soy protein shakes and eat nuts and beans like above.

  5. That's a lot of protein. Lentils are a good source of protein at about 25g of protein per 100g. To get your amount of 200g you would need 800g of lentils which is a huge amount, a standard serving being about 80-100g cooked.

Other than beans, vegetables don't really have that much protein.

NB - these measures are for raw amount -  as lentils increase in weight (by about two times) after cooking due to the absorption of water you would actually need to eat a whopping 1600g of cooked lentils!

NB - Brown rice only contains 2g of protein per 100g so isn't a very good way to increase your protein intake.

  6. 200 grams?  For what reason? That's way too much for even an active person.  It's impossible to be able to have enough time in a day to get 200 grams from just vegetables.

  7. no way u can!!!! 200 is alot try some pure protein shakes that will be easy, and u can really measure your intake

    eas.com

  8. try to eat tofu, legumes, lentils, and broccoli. they have the most source of protein for veggies. Milk would also be a good source of protein.

  9. thats a lot, and too much protein can be harmful to your health

  10. try vitamins vegetables rice fish poultry food

  11. Tahini is a good source

    pure pea protein powder

be sure and drink plenty of water~

  12. You definitely do not need 200 grams of protein a day.

Check out these two sites.  PLEASE do not force yourself to eat 200 grams of protein a day.....

  13. 200g of protein from veggies?  I hope you have a lot of time, and a big appetite.

You could eat 4 cups of peanut butter and hit 200g, but you'd also be taking in about 6,000 calories.

If you want to count vegan protein shakes as "from vegetables" (they are usually rice or pea based), then that would be the most calorie efficient way to get extra protein.

  14. Why would you feel you need that much protein? I think you should talk to a nutritionist, because over a period of time you could do damage to your kidneys and other parts of your body.
