How do I get this on WMM or Youtube? *TEN POINTS*?

I have an old sony video camera and my brother wants to load a video he made onto the internet, or to windows movie maker to edit it. When we plug it in with a USB cable that fits into the camera, it opens up a folder saying this:

So, I click it, and it says it is empty. I know there is a video on the camera, but it won't let me open it.

Dear, the folder that you will open is the space for storage pictures, not videos!

You didn't say your camcorder's model. But I think it uses caste to record videos. If so, please do the following:

1. Check that if you use a DV caste, you can transfer your video to your computer via USB with programs such as Windows Movie Maker in the capture section.

2. IF it uses Hi8 (you said it is old) you have to capture you video by a Capture card into your PCI, Motherboard Slot.

3. If it uses a memory card, please remove it from your camcorder and send your data via a memory reader.
