How do I get thompsons water seal out of a swimming pool?

I was spraying the pool deck w/Thompson's water seal and some got in the pool. I called the company, and they said that it should evaporate within a couple of days in the sun - but my wife said that there's still a film on the surface of the water and it's been a week since I've sprayed. I completely cleaned out the filter yesterday and will add clarifier today - but does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of it/neutralize it if that doesnt work?

  1. THERE IS A GOOD WATER CLARIFIER CALLED SEA KLEAR ( YES THAT IS THE CORRECT SPELLING) IT IS NOT A OILY CLARIFIER LIKE SOME ARE. IT BINDS THE SMALL PARTICLES TOGETHER SO THE FILTER DOES CATCH THEM.THIS CLARIFIER IS USED IN COMMERCIAL FISH TANKS! MOST POOL SUPPLY STORES HAVE IT !

  2. suck the film off with a shop vac

  3. a company called natutural chemistry makes a pool enzyme thats good for oil based products it may help
