  1. My friend, here how to get from Park Place in Manhattan to McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn.

Step 1: take the Bronx-bound (northbound) #2 or 3 trains (Red Line) from Park Place to 14th Street.

Step 2: at 14th Street, transfer uptstairs to the "L" train (Silver Line). Take the Brooklyn-bound (eastbound) "L" train from 6th Avenue-14th Street to Lorimer Street-Metropolitan Avenue.

Step 3: at Lorimer Street-Metropolitan Avenue, transfer downstairs to the "G" train (Light Green Line). Take the Queens-bound (northbound) trian from Metropolitan Avenue to Nassau Avenue.

Step 4: at Nassau Avenue, exit the subway and walk west along Nassau Avenue, from Manhattan Avenue to the entrance of McCarren Park. Once inside the park, follow the directional sign to the Pool.

The fare on the subway is $2 each way and transfer between subway lines are free.

Good luck and enjoy the concert
