I'm new to london and need to be in Nottingham by 9AM. Someone told me to take the Victoria line to St. Pancreas and then to transfer to some other train which would take me direct to Nottingham. Is this correct? How long would this trip be? Please help?

  1. Yes, you have to take the Victoria Line. The trip should be about an hour and a half. So I would get up early if I was you.

  2. Yes, all direct trains for Nottingham leave from St Pancras. However the journey to Nottingham is about two hours so you'll need to get the 6.35 a.m. train. It will be a lot cheaper if you pre-book your ticket. It will take you about 20 minutes from Knightsbridge station to get to King's Cross St Pancras underground and you need to factor in time for walking to St Pancras which could take 15-20 minutes as it's complicated
