  1. easy call me a t*at..........

    only joking????

  2. If you are driving from Lucan, take the road into city centre.  Once you get onto N4, it is pretty much a straight run, and brings you in to Heuston Station.

The red dot on the left is Heuston Station

Follow the traffic over the Liffey, and continue right alongside the river, it's all one way traffic.  There are 3 lanes, keep to the middle lane.  When you get to O'Connell Bridge, you have two choices:

    1.  Turn right into D'Olier Street, round the little triangle you see on the map. round the front of Trinity College, right round through Nassau Street. At the end of Nassau Street you see another little triangular-type bit, you have to go round that to get to North Merrion Square.  Once you are there, continue to Lower Mount Street and keep going.  It's a straight road to St Vincent's.

    2.  continue straight on to the second bridge after O'Connell Bridge (this one is Talbot Memorial) and turn right to cross over the bridge.

After the bridge, turn left down City Quay, take the 5th right (Lime Street) continue straight as far as you can, and turn left after Holles Street Maternity Hospital.  into Mount Street on the map

Then keep going straight until you reach St.Vincent's Hospital, it's about 3 or 4 miles, and it's on the right.  You can't miss it.

will show you Northumberland Road continuing further on onto Merrion road.  It doesn't show you St. Vincent's, but you are on the right road at Merrion Road, just keep going until you reach the hospital.

For someone not familiar with Dublin city centre, choice 1 might be the simplest, though I would normally go by choice 2, as you miss much of the one-way-street chaos that is central Dublin.

  3. Get the 25 from LUCAN (Dodsboro) , or 66 or 67 from Lucan  village to Pearse street. Then either hop on the Dar.

If you are travelling by train, there is the Sydney Parade DART station close to the hospital.

Or else hop on one of these buses Buses: 4   | 5 | 7 | 7A | 45. All except the 45 can be boarded at O'Connell Street heading South. The 45 goes from Eden Quay

If you are driving then the route is http://www.aaroadwatch.ie/routes/route.a...

  4. the no 7 bus goes from town to there.

the no 45 goes from trinity college as well
