  1. Find the closest Amtrak to your home and make reservations.

  2. Take the train ( Amtrac to Philadelphia, then  the commuter train to Harrisburg, Pa.( no change of stations, both operate out of 30th st station)*  From there,. by Susquehanna trailways to Williamsport.

Connecting at Harrisburg is easy, Trailways and Amtrac share the same station.

Note " Susquehanna trailways also operates Phila to Williamsport, but that ride is 3 hours longer than the one from Harrisburg, and you have to get from 30th st station in Phila to the railways terminal, something i do not recommend unless you're familiar with Philadelphia.,

      Have a good trip.

  3. Find a train with stops near those cities and buy tickets. Then pack up your bags and go!

If the train doesn't work out, also look into buses.

  4. If you want to leave your car home:

The only train from PA to FL is the Amtrak train that starts in NY City that roughly follows I-95.  Major stops on this line near PA include Newark, NJ, Metropark, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, and Washington, DC, etc. (I am not sure if this train stops at all every station.)

Another option is to drive to Lorton, VA.  There is a non-stop train from Lorton to Sanford, FL on which you bring your car (they load and unload).
