How do I get to Woodbury Common Outlet in NJ. ?

Hi!

I'm going to visit New York in September and I want to go to the Woodbury Common Outlet in NJ.

How do I get there by taking a coach/bus? I don't want to spend too much money...

Can someone help me find a cheap way to get there?

It's actually in New York.

I'm not sure exactly how, but it's on the New York State Thruway.

you can get a bus from the port authority bus station on the corner of 8th Ave and 42nd St.

Edit - here is a link I found showing different ways of getting there, we took the bus because we were staying near the bus station...

Coach USA runs buses all day long from Port Authority (www.coachusa.com) - otherwise, there's trains that take you from Hoboken to the Harriman train station - which is about 5 miles from there, but then you'd need to get a cab from the train to the Commons - and I don't think those are plentiful.

(BTW - it's exit 16 of the New York state Thruway)

There is no public transportation to the outlet.  You would need to rent a car.  It is a one hour drive from Manhattan.  Plenty of Malls in NJ right over the George Washington Bridge.

Woodbury Common Outlet is, by far, my favorite outlet.  My 14-year-old loves it, too.  It is located in Harriman, New York, near Route 17 and Interstate 87.  There is a train station about two miles away.  The link is listed below for the Metro-North Railroad.
