How do I get to my hotel in Paris by metro?

Question

I'm arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport and I need to get to my hotel (Tryp Blanche Fontaine, 34 Rue Fontaine, Paris, 75009, France) by metro or by RER. Can some one help me find out specific directions and the prices of the tickets?

Take the RER B from the airport to the Gare du Nord. The ticket will cost 8,20 €

At gare du Nord change to the Metro line 2, Direction : Porte Dauphine (Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny) and take it to the Blanche stop.

The transfer from the RER does not require another ticket. But be careful when looking for the correct Metro platform that you do not inadvertently leave the station (I admit that I managed to do this many years ago). If you see a sign that says "limit de validite des billets" you are about to do just that.

When you exit the Blanche station you will find yourself on the Boulevard de Clichy at the Place Blanche.

You will see the famous Moulin Rouge on the corner of the Blvd.de Clichy and the rue Blanche.

Turn your back to the corner where the Moulin rouge is and you should see the rue Fontaine which enters the Place Blanche just about equidistant between the Blvd. de Clichy and the rue Blanche (that is, at about a 45 degree angle to each) .

Your Hotel is just about 80-100 meters down the street.

34 Rue Fontaine is closest to the Blanche stop on the M2 line.  From CDG, take the Metro to Gare du Nord.  Get off here and switch to Metro Line M2.  You'll wanna go in the Porte Dauphine direction.  Ride M2 until you arrive at Blanche.
