How do I get to work?

Question

There's this place hiring close to where I live.

It's five minutes walking distance.

They will make me work nights only at the beginning. I'm only 16 and small for my age.

I do not have a car. (public transportation doesn't go that late) How can i get to work?? The walk is only 5mins, but anything can happen. The street is not well lighted at all. What should I do?? I'm thinking about declining the job, but I'm scared I won't be able to find another.

if its a five min walk...i say just book it if your scared...run like h**l!

LOL..no but seriously try asking a friend or family member to walk with you if ur nervous

Carry a flashlite and a whistle and blow it if you feel like someone is following you.

what about bicycling?

perhaps one of your fellow employee could give you a lift?

another idea is what about   a taxi? (yep not very cheap)

what about your parents coming to pick you up?

if there a will there is  way

If it's only 5 minutes away, it shouldn't be a problem. Ride a bike or jog, take a whistle and a knife, just in case. Unless you're in a really bad neighborhood, you should be fine. Being afraid of things will just hold you back in life. Find a way!
